Automotive Electronics for Formula styled electric vehicles
Formula Electric Racing NUST
Designed and implemented safety and control circuits for high-voltage EVs, including R2D, BSPD, and precharge systems, while leading a team in PCB design, embedded systems, and functional safety compliance.

Project Overview
During my time as an Electronics Engineer and later Electronics Lead at FERN (Formula Electric Racing NUST), I designed and developed a range of electric vehicle electronics according to the Formula Student Rulebook with my team. These included safety and control circuits such as the Ready-to-Drive System, Tractive System Activation Light, Brake System Plausibility Device, Debugger Circuit, and Precharge/Tractive System Active Light. Through this work, I gained hands-on experience in PCB design, embedded systems, and functional safety for high-voltage EVs, while also leading a team from design through to testing and implementation.
Further details and technical documentation of these circuits can be found at the link below.
