Robotic Tank Crawler
Beecortex
Engineered a magnetic-wheeled unmanned crawler for NDT of oil tanks, contributing to motor driver circuitry, sensor integration, embedded communication, real-time telemetry, and location tracking to enhance safety and efficiency.

Project Overview
At BeeCortex, I contributed to the development of the Spider (Robotic Tank Crawler) — a magnetic-wheeled unmanned ground vehicle built for non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection of metallic oil tanks. Leveraging magnetic adhesion, the crawler can climb vertically and maneuver across tank walls, eliminating the need for scaffolding and significantly improving inspection safety and efficiency. My work included designing custom circuitries and systems for motor drivers and sensor integration, implementing robust communication between the microprocessor and microcontrollers, and developing real-time telemetry and control protocols. I additionally developed a distance and location tracking system, enabling precise monitoring of the robot crawler. This project combined circuit design, embedded communication, and robotics into a field-ready platform for industrial inspection.
